Almost certainly because the ROSCO asked and paid them to.

Because LNER have to hand anything back to the leasing company in the same state as when they the leased it from the leasing company

This is always the case eg GWR HST trailers getting heavy exams and repaints and then going off lease

Because they have to, the leasing agreement states that the 91s have to be returned in a working condition

Set BN05 is this evening reported to have turned its last wheels in anger courtesy of 91105.

ECS to BN off 1730 EDB-KGX, next stop Worksop I suspect.

BN05 and 82210 now sat in Ferme Park this evening.

BN24 and 82229 have been moved from Ferme Park but I'm not sure where to - can't see any transfers took place today.

Is the DVT not considered part of each specific set, are they interchangeable between sets like the locos?

I only ask as I wondered why the DVT number was quoted separately.

The DVTs are interchangeable, but the number quoted next to the coach set shows the set they were usually booked to work with under LNER.
For example, 82210 was booked to be on the London end of BN05, unless maintenance requirements resulted in the spare DVT (82224) or another DVT taking over.

Thanks for this! Was at Sheffield for the day so popped over to Worksop to see it and the other two sets. For anyone interested I gather it was BN24?

How often are the sets moving to Worksop? Is it presumably weekly as the IEPs are introduced weekly?

Next set to Worksop not for a few weeks (next IEP introduction also not for a few weeks).

BN29 last day in traffic today. Then going for de-branding at Bounds Green.
