We make our way into the station and board the 1242 District Line service to Barking LU station that arrives at 1341 on Wednesday afternoon.

Barking station is served by London Underground, London Overground and National Rail, so you don't have to specify 'LU' after it as it's all in one complex. It's obvious which stations are served by tube/tram stops etc.

We then board the 1350 Blue Triangle service 5 to Canning Town Station, arriving there at 1422 on Wednesday afternoon.

Once again, it appears there is no end to my lack of understanding of the nuances that apply to this quiz. I just assumed that LU District Line trains arrived at the LU platforms at such interchange stations and made my posting accordingly, as I feared that if I had not made my posting in the way that I did, I would be "hauled over the coals".

It is depressing to know that you are wrong whatever you do...........The first line of my website signature has never rang truer.

That is it for the rest of the night (why a station in the arse end of nowhere has a service so late at night is beyond me!), so we have to wait until the 0711 Southern service 2C09 to Moulsecoomb, arriving there at 0729 on Thursday morning.
