Sprinter family: 150, 153, 155, 156, 158, 159.
EDIT: I suppose the 950 counts, but more interested in passenger operations or empty stock moves.

Is there any area these units haven't worked in the UK?

I don't want to limit this to individual stations as I'm sure they would be loads. I was thinking more routes or areas. For example, you see them around the Manchester area.

I can only think of electric terminals out of London (apart from Waterloo). Most large stations I think of have seen a sprinter train before.

North of Littleport? I think that route went straight from Diesel loco to Electric Multiple Unit without any Diesel MU use since Sprinters were made, but I'm too young to know for sure!

I would assume most of the Merseyrail network has never seen one (although I'm not including the 950 as that may have done....)

I was wondering about Glossop and Hadfield, although as DarloRich questioned the validity of the NR 950 unit which most probably has visited virtually every outpost on the network I'm not so sure.

Edit: Definitely not valid having just found shots of 150211 at both Glossop and Hadfield back in 1991.

Related to the question, I don't think any 156's have ever visited the south west, well past Bristol at least (as they did see use from Cardiff when the 155's were all taken out of service when new, brand new 156's were loaned for a time.....)

While 156s have done Glasgow-Kilwinning-Ayr-Girvan/Stranraer, have any been on the Largs branch? Or on the Gourock/Wemyss Bay lines for that matter?

With the issues regarding diesel stock on the Liverpool Loop line, I doubt that Sprinters will have done much on the Wirral, other than operating Wrexham-Bidston (and probably Chester-Rock Ferry pre-electrification).

In the London area, other than out of Waterloo have Sprinters operated anywhere other than the Goblin line? I assume the Goblin 150s would have operated along the rest of the North London line out of service too?

Sprinters have previously operated in Motherwell, with the early morning/evening journey to or from Edinburgh Waverley via Shotts before the recent electrification.

Also, there was a journey each way back in the early Noughties that ran from Glasgow Central to Leeds via Appleby.

Also the VT operated class 158s

During a full shutdown of Piccadilly in the 1990s or early 2000s (I forget) Glossop was operated from Victoria using DMUs via the Ashburys chord. I did it on a Pacer (the squealing on the chord would have woken most of Manchester if they had been asleep) but they may well have used 150s too.

Can’t count Euston. 150’s of Silverlink were regular visitors. As were FNW 158s at one time. May have also even been a 156 made it there on one of those services though I stand to be corrected on that.

Didn't 150's operate out of Euston to Watford? I think I went on one.

I understand that in Silverlink days one of the early morning Sunday services out of Euston was often operated using a pair of 150s rather than a 321. Not entirely sure why though. So they've been to Euston for that reason, and I'm sure I saw a couple stabled there in Silverlink days.

I thought the FNW London services were mainly 321 operated? Or am I getting things mixed up? I certainly didn't think they were DMUs.
If memory serves me right, the class 321s operated from Manchester Airport and 158s operated a service from I think Rochdale?

EDIT: beaten to it.

Didn’t use any 321s on FNW. 322, (admittedly, almost the same thing) The 158s used to stop at Newton Le Willows on that train from Rochdale to Euston. Bargain at £25 return in my pre rail employee days.
