Trainee Driver (Northern) - Liverpool

I applied in April for the Trainee Driver position with Northern in Liverpool. Had my initial interview last week (13th June), but still waiting to hear either way. Was wondering if anyone else was involved in the same interviews and have heard back?

I gather from other posts that it is usually a frustrating/long wait. Still growing impatient with it though haha :).

Thanks for reply Mel. Did you interview for same position? Yeah have checked Spam already (nothing yet) as all other my previous correspondence went straight to spam.

I’d love to know what was in your app form to get passed the sift....I can’t get to the interview stage despite having all the pyschometric assessment passes.

Never been past the sift either. Been on the railway for over a decade (Ok not great but still:E)

To OP: Northern are known as being sporadic in replying though, to answer the question a little. Keep checking the emails (+spam)
