The car park is quite small and can be full on the odd occasion, but there is also a pay and display next door if needed.

If he is training at the academy, he wont have any problem with parking. Think back when we arrived about 8:30 there was always loads of free spaces

Can I just say to those who are asking questions and advice. Remember everyone is competing with each other with regards to these job opportunities and there is obviously another sifting process happening which is why EMT have provided a video interview.
To those who are providing the answers to all the questions, it may be beneficial for your own sake to remember number one until you get the job.

Btw I don't mean the actual OPC assessments, in respect to not giving too much away as that is just to see how you individually do.
But I do suggest the other parts where you are with the TOC (group assessments/ video interview/ dmi) that you are cautious that you are in fact helping your competitors do better than yourself by giving away any answers.

Just my opinion.

Yep I've posted this in all 3 active EMT threads.

After what seems like for ages ive been e mailed a date for the group interview stage on the 18th July at Customer Service Academy in Derby. Im led to believe the half day consists of group exercises such as building a paper tower etc. Im also told that you complete a series of speed interviews ????? Any ideas on what subjects are covered in these interviews and possible format..... I take it on this day there are no proper interviews as such using the STAR system and that will hopefully come at the next stage.
Appreciate any feedback or help, thanks.......
Did you ever do a video interview as part of the process or did you go straight to stage 2 after completing the stage one assessments? Thanks

As you have joined the forum specifically to try and tell people not to offer advice, I assume this goes for all similar threads as well? There are nearly 9000 threads in the Railway Jobs & Careers section, you had better get cracking.

Cheers for the response yes I did, it was in my junk email so thought I didn't have it.
Just seems strange that some candidates have had to do the video interview and some havnt ???? Sometimes wonder how the TOC's go about things, as the gaps between stages have been massive in my case so far .....

Is anyone on the Stage 2 testing day in Nottingham on Wed 24th July?

To those who have been through a Stage 2 testing day before - do you have to pass each individual test to progress onto the next one? Or does everyone do every test to then be told yea or nay at a later date? Many thanks.

You do the three computer-based tests one after the other, then if you pass all 3 you do the MMI.... I failed one of the tests so didn't make it to the MMI.

@Smigg92, hope your course is going well! Glad to hear you got on one pretty quickly!

I've been reading in other forum posts that people got the MMI questions a while before the interview? Will we get before or on the assessment day?

Hi Kevlar,

You’ll get the core questions at the start of your assessment day, as you’re asked to briefly outline your answers on paper, ready for the interviewer to prepare notes/further questions for the MMI later in the day. :)

Hi mate, I attended the stage 1 tests on the 29th March and didn't get asked to do the video interview. How about you?
Yeah same mate, attended stage 1 on 29th March am. Its a very extended process. You any idea of whats involved on Thursday other than group tests. I take it no interviews involved as nothing mentioned ??
