Evening all,

Quick and easy question for you...is the car park at Guide Bridge free for rail users?

Thanks.

The NRE site links to a photo of the sign which is barely readable but suggests it is indeed free.

The Street View shows a height barrier, if that's an issue for you, by the way.

The height barrier was installed after "travellers" moved in shortly after the car park was expensively re-built. The encampment filled many car parking spaces and left several skip loads of debris to clear up. Unfortunately, the barrier now presents an obstacle for larger vehicles to access the maintenance yard at the other end of the car park, it has to be unlocked every time a vehicle arrives and this then blocks the entrance while this process goes on.

As is the case with the majority of station car parks (Guide Bridge being no exception) it fills up fast and will be lucky to find a space on a week day after 8am, so get there early!
