No, as far as I'm aware it's not a valid route. National Rail tickets are only valid on London Underground where there is an interavailable route (which there isn't at Camden Road), or as part of a cross-London transfer, which can only be started or ended at one of the stations listed here.Would a single from Camden Road to Maidenhead be valid from Camden Town underground to Paddington underground and then on via GWR from Paddington to Maidenhead? Thanks
NRES also offers me a route via Willesden Jn, Queens Park and then Bakerloo to Paddington. Apart from it being illogical to commence a journey by walking away from a station, if you start at (for example) Caledonian Rd, it won’t route you via the Camdens, presumably because Camden Town isn’t on the list of stations valid for cross-London transfer entry/exit?From Camden Road your route would be via Highbury & Islington and Moorgate to get to Paddington.
It'd effectively take a change as radical as allowing tickets via "any reasonable route" for something like that to happen.Great thanks. It would be good if there was consistency where all the walking routes now on the tube map were also OK for ticket interavailability.
