I understand the data from Realtimetrains only goes back about 8 days. Are there any other websites that give similar information but go back further? I need to go back 11 days

http://raildar.co.uk/ goes back later. On realtime trains you can go back further if you change the data in the url

I tried changing the date in the url but it didn't work...
It will only work if it's the same service. If it wasn't the usual working timetable (WTT) path that it probably won't work

Aha, ok, then I'll have to try the others. I'm trying to caption up photos taken on the 20th June for passenger and ecs working

Clicking on 'All' or 'Summary' will include ECS workings, clicking on 'Freight' or 'Departures' won't do.

That's wierd, I did select "All". I'll try again tonight...
Empty stock movements can only be identified by the '5' prefix to their code, they aren't otherwise differentiated.

I have no idea. I'm assuming it's a daily (M-F) run to depot after the morning peak but its on a line that I no longer regularly commute on

It was just one example; I have 2 days' worth of pics to caption up which include some ecs workings and freights...

Why not just give at least the location and date of one of the ECS's? One observation that might be relevant: realtimetrains (RTT) interpolates times for trains at all places through which it travels which are not timing points on the railway systems. For instance an express or freight train won't have timing points at every station, but RTT will calculate what times are reasonable for the stations it passes through. Other systems may just work on the timing points. For instance if I take a picture of something at Northfield, this is a timing point only for the local emu's that stop there. Trains that pass through Northfield such as Voyagers and freights will have Kings Norton and Longbridge as timing points, but not Northfield (for those who are hazy about the railways of Birmingham, Kings Norton, Northfield and Longbridge are consecutive stations on the Crosscity line south of New St which is also part of the main line to the Southwest and South Wales via Cheltenham). So a freight train I am trying to find details for will appear on RTT but not on other systems. I would need to seach for trains at Kings Norton or Longbridge on other systems.
