Does anyone know if 35167 is still broken down as it has not showed up on the tracker for months now and also on bus times on the incomplete fleet list does anyone know why 32349, 33952, 35167 and then whatever else is highlighted in black colour for.
Bradley can I give my thoughts on some of those in black colour you refer to.
30875 off the road with blown engine since around Feb 2019. Probably withdrawn.
32015 not seen in service since April 2019
32229/30/2/3 Surely these returned to Dawsons around March
53809/11/12/13 went to First Cymru Feb / March
53859 don't know why in black. It was in service in Bath last Monday.
66731 involved in accident March 2019. Possibly withdrawn?

At Weymouth Depot today in awful condition 33057 33146 and 60337 were slowly falling apart. Parked with them were 39920 36005. Trainer 66181 in front of that lineup.

32003 shown on the bustracker as on the 20 this evening. Presumably that's the Weston 20 although it was working in Bath on Monday. What could be useful is that it still retained a bit of its Coaster livery all winter/spring although on Bath Uni services!!

Think people have to be conscious that bustimes is only a bit of guide. Ticket machines get swapped over - 69437 was showing as 37606 the other week IIRC. There are spare machines - remember there are vehicles 82, 87, 90, 93, 386, 709 and 878 all showing on bustimes. It isn't exact.

Changes to the 2 in September will be.

More buses, serving Crow lane and station road in Henbury. And more frequent buses monday to Friday 7pm to 9pm.

No other changes are happening at the moment.

So with the 2 now to be running via Henbury instead of Wyck Beck Road, during peak times the journey time between Cribbs Causeway and Brentry Marlwood Drive will take more or less the same as it does now, if not even a few minutes(or a bit more) longer. And at off-peak times, the journey time will be about 5 minutes longer! I really don't get it! Good news for people living in Henbury though.

And also one of the proposal of the consultation was a re-route via Henleaze Road and Westbury Road instead of Northumbria Drive and North View, due to traffic problems at peak times. I thought this would be a good idea as I expect this would have actually shave a few minutes or a bit more off the journey times. But this proposed change won't be happening!

And the 2 won't be split after all. Which some will think is a good idea, whilst some will think is a bad idea. So I expect there to be the usual long waits for a 2 from Broadmead/Centre at times on Saturday afternoons and weekday peak times when traffic is heavy on the Wells Road and Temple Meads area. Oh well!

I think it is all about making it more reliable?

But it would have left North View shops / Waitrose / Scott Cinema/etc with no bus service southbound, so I can't see it as a good idea! Here convenience trumps reliability...

They've said in addition to the one extra vehicle allocated because of the Henbury diversion, that they "expect to allocate a number of extra buses" - presumably to make the timetable more robust!

The 2 will be split eventually, I can see it happening.

Steve White tells us 32003 has indeed gone from Bath to Weston for a summer holiday along with its mate 32014.I don't think the other two purplies 32007/15 are available as they appear to have been VOR for a long time.

Hello kids.

Just a little update from Wells.

First news is that I'm now a driver (nearly - with a buddy) in Wells. Second news is some rather exciting news - the Wells Streetdecks are moving over the next few weeks in return for some E400s. I don't yet know which Enviros it'll be, but most people are saying the Streetdecks are going to Hengrove, so maybe the 91/92 Enviros?

35147 is sat vor in depot and 35148/61/62/67 are all vor in other depots and all 5 of them are now off the Wells fleet

Unfortunately the final bit of news is 66726 - this has also been taken off fleet and last seen near Hengrove, to which many are suggesting she's gone into Discover livery - admittedly she was part there already, but it's ashame, as I never got to drive her.

The only other thing off the road is 32673 (sat in Bath). 32284, 37757 and 63076 are all on loan to Wells at the moment.

Ive so far had the pleasure (and not so) of driving 69445 and 35160 for type training, 37771 for a Street, 32669 for 174/172/172, 69443 174 and today had 69447 for 126 and 35165 for Streets and Bristol. The B7s are fabulous things to drive, but 32669 was a total heap yesterday, overheating several times.

So some interesting things have happened and more interesting things to come.

35167 still off the road, 33952 I believe is sat in LH depot. Haven't seen 32349 for a while, but have no idea on that one.

I had a look round LH before I left last night but couldn't see 32349 anywhere it wasn't on the allocation board either so its a mystery where this is at the moment.

Well first of all, congratulations on the new job. Genuinely hope it goes well for you - it's a decent job despite its challenges.

Saw 66726 on Tuesday and it was looking very shabby now. Interesting they've conceded defeat on the Streetdecks with 35147 only just being drafted in.

With the B7TLs leaving Bath for Weston, and allowing the B9s to return to Bristol, wonder if that will allow some of those to be repainted/refurbished for Wells and allow the B7s to move to Leicester?

Welcome back, not heard from you in ages! Congratulations on the new job, I shall look out for you on the 376. Interesting, and unexpected news on the streetdecks. Despite the hope and the hype in 2015, I guess they just didn't quite work out, and are moving.on after less than four years, but seems to be a good decision. Excited to see what might take their place.
It is disappointing however about 66726, although that has been hinted at for quite some time so has already long surpassed expectations. I saw it from the train at Bath bus station on Thursday, still in Badgerline, so who knows what will happen with that.

The Wells fleet is all a bit mismatch at the moment so look forward to seeing what comes next.

Yes 32688 is indeed a Wells vehicle.
Incidentally 32284 is no longer on loan to Wells, it got swapped in Bath for 37763 so two X39 B9s on loan now, other being 37757.

I am not surprised in the least to hear of this will be interested to see how long HG keep the StreetDecks for before First Bristol try and dispose of them to another part of the UK for some Enviro400s. Glad the 376 will get something rather more reliable though. If the Enviro400s do come from HG then I wonder if the Enviro400s will simply be to see how they fare on the 376 before an order gets placed for some new ones, following which the StreetDecks leave HG and the Enviro400s being obtained return to HG.

I think they really have tried their best with the streetdecks at Wells, but just hasn't worked out, so after a relatively short period working 376 (less than four years), have conceded defeat. They might be better suited to Hengrove work anyway, though as you suggest could also be a stop-gap, for many Wright products do seem to be on their way out.

I have noticed in recent months a preference to use the B9s on the 376, when really they were intended for the 173, suggesting perhaps that's what has been causing the delay in sending the B7RLEs on to Leicester.

It is a shame that Wright went so downhill! We have so many Geminis in Bristol still which will surely go down as one of Bristols classic fleet. There are routes that are fine with the Streetdecks like the 70 and 71 in Bristol they do well!
