As the title, I've been quoted 110 ish as an advance fare. The walk up is 136. Coach is about 20 from brum plus 18 train both ways. Both return travelling out on Friday, returning Monday.
Can I get a cheaper rail fare? Obviously not as cheap as the bus but I'd prefer to do it by rail.
If you can wangle that journey for less than 90 then your a hero(ine).
I'm travelling 12th out, 15th back

Many thanks if you can help!!!

Have a look in trainsplit.com for split ticketing options.

A quick search finds a fare of £90.51 leaving at 9.40 on the 12th, returning at 15.25 on the 15th, with broadly similar fares available at other times too.

Can't see any *below* 90, but almost....
