142071 & 142057 in the south facing bay platform at Rochdale.
I’m currently on 142001. We left Wigan NW as 2W49 16:27 to Stalybridge but at Man Vic we somehow became 2N99 17:02 to Blackburn.
So round the Todmorden curve on 142001 it is then. :D

142024 was seen at Doncaster today leading 1W20 1025 Sheffield to Scarborough with 158794 on the rear. It is unclear if the 142 worked right through to Scarborough or wether it was detached at Hull. Both units were in passenger use.

I hope that 142024 did not go through to Scarborough. There’s still some jointed track and it gets exceptionally rough over it - I speak from experience.

Managed 142089 yesterday on 1N68 Carlisle-Newcastle....not realising 156434 was 15 minutes behind......was an experience over an hour and half on one

Today everybody was squeezing in to 142s to head for Redcar and Saltburn. Bursting at the seams were, 142 021/6/70/1/87 and 88.

Getting confused again because it’s after midnight lol.

I assume you were talking about Yesterday i.e. Tuesday?

It was working LIV to MCO on Monday as well, I caught 2O88 from HNX to LIV though I travelled in the 150 trailing as that stopped nearest my point on the platform.

A quick question here if anybody has had sight of the following 142s today?

I will be in Northern land tomorrow, but unsure which side of the Pennines I will mainly be. It will give me an idea of where to head after arriving at Preston.

The above are my last 5 Northern 142s for haulage (079, and any one of the 09x always seems to be on Heaton Depot with no allocation), and I will post in the TOPS thread tomorrow.
