The only good part of the Cricket was the super over.
The final lap of the 2008 Brazilian Grand Prix.
Your loss, it was an action packed race. Hamilton Vs Bottas, Leclerc Vs verstappen, the safety car period, Mclaren Vs Renault, Vettel rear ending verstappen. The only good part of the Cricket was the super over.
I may have been shouting abuse at him through the tv.I saw Chris Grayling was actually doing something useful at the Grand Prix yesterday.
As a sleeping policeman maybe?I saw Chris Grayling was actually doing something useful at the Grand Prix yesterday.
I watched the first 5 laps and went to bed knowing full well who would win.F1 is like watching paint dry these days. Dull. Dull. Dull. No characters. No competition
It is often a procession.
No BTCC until the Tour de France is over, ITV4 is committed to the cyclists.
Get in there DK! On another note, with Albon also performing well and Gasly storming into the back of him, too soon for silly season or?Daniil Kvyat gets a podium. What a result.
Gasly will probably be gone by Spa.Get in there DK! On another note, with Albon also performing well and Gasly storming into the back of him, too soon for silly season or?
Unless there's a miracle, Gasly won't be in RB come Spa.Gasly will probably be gone by Spa.
It took Hamilton to be unwell for him to not be on the podium though. So much for all the mutterings about us not getting proper races with lots going on any more...
Who was demoted? And Robert Kubica gets promoted into the points! My oh my, this is interesting.
It was a head cold IIRC.It took Hamilton to be unwell for him to not be on the podium though.
Both Alfa Romeos were handed 30 second time penalties for having suspected launch control.Who was demoted?
I just saw. F1 has it as a "clutch irregularity" but it promotes Hamilton to 9th so it's not all lost for Merc. The irony of this () is that I was watching videos over the weekend that mentioned Option 13 a lot. Both Alfa Romeos were handed 30 second time penalties for having suspected launch control.
You've got to give it to Vettel, 20th to 2nd at his home race should give him a massive boost for the rest of the season now, particularly as the qualifying issues were not his fault
he didn't seem bothered by the race for most of it and only came second because everyone else crashed into the scenery! It wasn't a drive like the one he did in Brazil or Abu Dhabi in 2012. At least Ferrari got the strategy right this time!
I guess when the pressure is off, that is when Vettel excels. That seems to be a common theme for him, even back in his Red Bull / Championship days when he knew he had the fastest car. But when the pressure was on at Red Bull, he didn't seem to handle it
He couldn't pass the oldest driver on the grid or worse still, get close enough to pass. If so many people didn't have incidents, he could've easily finished behind Kimi.In those two races above the pressure was absolutely on. Brazil he was spun round by Bruno Senna and ended up last. He drove through to 6th to win the championship.

To say he wasn’t bothered is claptrap. He wanted to win.
