South Ealing - Northfields.

Yes it’s the tube but in outer London. It’s timetabled (TFL JP) as one minute but the actual journey time from train departing to doors opening at the other station is about 30 seconds (same as Embankment-Charing Cross on the Northern line).

Barbican-Moorgate is also timetabled as one minute.

Has anyone mentioned West India Quay to Canary Wharf on the DLR which the running time between the stations must be 30 seconds or less...!
The platform ends are about one train length apart.

Timed the 11:03 Portrush to Coleraine this morning between Portrush and Dhu Varren. Took 75 seconds from Start to Complete Stop.

Just left Folkestone Central at 0800 and it was 0801 when we arrived at Folkestone West.

What about Victoria to Salford Central?

Edit: Not in the U.K. but how about Koeln Hbf to Koeln Messe/Deutz? Only over the Hohenzollernbrücke and you're at the other station!

Brondesbury to Brondesbury Park shows as 1 minute on the National Rail app

From Stratford to Richmond the longest gap appears to be a mere 5 minutes

There are no tickets for the route, go to Plymouth quite often, if there's time I'll jump on a train & ask the guard for a ticket and see the reaction. Guess they would sell 2 singles to / from Plymouth

Amusingly if you put it in to a Journey Planner, the ticket it tries to sell you is a Ride Cornwall Day Ranger - £13.00 for a 23 minute journey that effectively takes you 10 meters measured station exit to station exit!

Would love to see a member of revenue staff would react to asking for this ticket.

There are two services in which you don't even have to change trains or cross platforms to complete the journey.
2G75 - the 17:45 Liskeard to Gunnislake
2C74 - the 17:29 Gunnislake to Liskeard
They pass each other just outside of Plymouth (assuming they are running to time)
Come to think of it, there must be quite a few who actually do the long route between Victoria Road and Ferry Road and vice versa, via Plymouth when they travel to/from the Gunnislake branch to/from Cornwall. In the past I have done so a few times.
No doubt, there are some who would do the journey just because you can. Rather like climbing Everest, because it's there I suppose.

There are some Southampton Central to Portsmouth & Southsea stopping services timed to arrive at Hamble one minute after departing from Netley, although the 'departure to departure' time as per the original post is two minutes.

Barlaston to Wedgwood would surely have only been a minute , you can see both stations from one or the other

I'll assume Humphrey Park and Trafford Park as they are visible from each other at the platforms.

NRE has Finsbury Park to Harringay and Harringay to Hornsey as 2 mins each - not sure if that's just NRE "rounding up" to the nearest minute though.
