Good Morning All,

I'm looking to travel from London King Cross to Hull on 22/07/19 on board the 1703 and then from Hull on 23/07/19 to Birmingham New Street on board a train after 1700 (Preferably before 1730).

I guess my journey is two singles unless there is a way to go via Birmingham New Street as a return?

I do not hold a Railcard or any discount entitlement but I am happy for some flexibility in regards to times of travel.

In regards to to longer journey times for cheaper tickets, I would ideally like to travel as quickly as possible with the least amount of changes but it is in your hands....

HELP!

Thanks in advance...

£81 Kings X to Hull Advance (i.e. booked train only) ticket on LNER's 1718 through service arriving 2005 (i.e. 9 minutes later than the connection from the 1703). Or £54 Advance on the 1848 Hull Trains departure arriving 2118.

On the 23rd, £26.75 Hull to Birmingham Advance on the 1727 changing at Sheffield.

There's almost nothing to be saved by splitting tickets for these journeys.

And given the time of travel on the 22nd (and where Hull is located), it's not obvious how one would find a return ticket that would enable you to do this more cheaply

Hi Romilly, Excellent thank you for your help - I will certainly be going with one of the options above.
