What's the price level for Weekend First from Edinburgh-Crewe?

Also, will staff be willing to issue that on an Inverness-Bletchley ticket, or will they insist on issuing to MKC? Unless it's cancelled (!) I intend to use LNR from Crewe.

You would only be issued an upgrade for the journey you undertake on Virgin, which is about £20 for Crewe, £30 for Milton Keynes.

If you wanted to use LNR from Crewe you would have to upgrade again as Virgin Weekend First isn't valid, and 1st Class on a 350 isn't worth it.

I indeed don't intend to upgrade on a 350 (though my view will change if /4s start appearing). I did wonder if they would insist on issuing to MKC and saying I should use VT to there instead, but I don't wish to unless the LNR is canned (some nice Delay Repay on a £150-odd ticket if so!)

They cannot tell to you have to use Virgin all the way to MKC, it's a customers desicion to change trains, just advise them you'd like an upgrade to Crewe.
