Not sure if this has been done before but I was thinking about what services have a considerably different service on Sundays compared to in the week and/or on Saturdays.

For me, I think the Penarth Line is a good contender here, every fifteen minutes during the week but only two hourly on a Sunday and only six departures a day.

Are there any services that have a relatively frequent service in the week but have no service on Sunday's?

Holton Heath on the Waterloo to Weymouth line (located between Poole and Wareham). One service per-hour each way during the week & Sats. Looks like no Sunday service at all now?

Coryton and Maesteg line have no Sunday service yet. Vale of Glamorgan is like Penarth in that respect dropping to one per two hour in each direction

Newton St Cyres on the Barnstaple line gets a significantly BETTER service on Sundays compared to during the week. Something to do with a certain pub I believe.

Stopping trains Great Yarmouth - Berney Arms/Reedham has a significantly better service on Sundays but unfortunately the line is temporarily closed. Also whilst on the subject of the Wherry Lines Summer Sundays sees a better daytime frequency at Norwich-Lowestoft intermediate stations (except Brundall Gardens) than Monday-Saturdays as all the trains are stoppers.

Bryn to Wigan NW/ Liverpool. Half hour in the week. No service on Sundays. I think that this is cas of some sort of mashup between MPTE and GMPTE. Bryn hasn't had a Sunday service since I arrived there in 1978. Dunno if it had one before.

Obviously there's any line with no Sunday service. I recall being surprised the Barton-on-Humber branch does have a Sunday service!

It used to be the case in the early 2000s that Marple got 3tph on weekdays but only the Sheffield locals (approx 0.5tph but with some longer gaps) on Sundays, but I think that's now been resolved.

Definitely a big difference at Beaulieu Road:-
14 up & 14 down trains on Sunday. 6 up & 8 down (7 SO) trains rest of the week.

The Clitheroe - Hellifield line sees 100% more passenger trains on summer Sundays compared to M-Sa.

I have a feeling Entwistle had a few more calls on Sunday compared to weekdays in the past (hourly versus 2-hourly??), but it seems to be pretty much hourly all week at present.

Two more lines to add to the no Sunday services list:-
Kirkby to Wigan
Ormskirk to Preston

No Sunday service north of Mansfield to Worksop on the Robin Hood Line.

Ditto Ivanhoe stations

...

Er, there are no passenger trains schedule between Clitheroe and Hellifield on weekdays, are there?

That makes it infinite percent, or meaningless - not 100%.

Bryn has had an hourly Sunday service since December 2017 (minus cancellations for driver availability).

On the same line though Edge Hill has 10 departures per hour Monday to Saturday daytime, but nothing on a Sunday.

Though you could say it gets 100% fewer passengers during the week.

Never understood why - this is a well used service, also cheaper compared to SWR services doing the same route who tend to be very busy usually as well on Sundays. Definitely a good opportunity to revenue grab.
The Southern services to Victoria still run from Portsmouth which you can connect onto at Havant if coming from Southampton. Extremely slow though with all the time extra stops and long waits on a Sunday...

There's no service Manchester Vic - Leeds via Brighouse on a Sunday, though it's hourly through the week (and has recently been extended from 1800-ish to late evenings).

Manchester Vic to Sowerby Bridge and Mirfield to Leeds have other services, but to travel between the 2 sections you have to change at Leeds OR Halifax and Huddersfield.

The Waterloo to Weybridge via Hounslow goes instead to Woking on Sundays.
Woking may be a more useful destination, but during the week there may not be paths to
cross the mainline to reach Woking (although it means that Weybridge loses a service on Sundays).

Glasgow - Gourock goes from 4tph Mondays - Saturdays to 1tph on Sundays. I’ve thought that’s a bit ridiculous since the 4th hourly service was added.

Worplesdon station has no service on a Sunday, but has hourly (plus peak enhancements) during the week.

The new Chester-Liverpool hourly service (TfW) operates 7 days a week (later start on Sundays).
The new Chester-Leeds service (Northern) does not operate west of Manchester on Sundays, though the stations are open for the TfW Manchester service.

In the Beeching era, BR withdrew Sunday services on a great many lines, particularly in the regions.
They were always very reluctant to reinstate them, and some lines are still suffering.
One obvious cost was opening manual signal boxes along a route 7 days a week.
Lines now controlled from an always-open power box stand a better chance of Sunday services.

Morchard Road on the Tarka line goes from 1tph Monday to Saturday to then having 1tp4h on Sundays! Meanwhile Lapford, Kings Nympton, Portsmouth Arms, Chapelton and (as already mentioned) Newton St. Cyres go from a couple/few trains at peak times to 1tp4h and actually get a better service.

Grangetown - Penarth came to my head first though.

Broughty Ferry has 7 services on a Sunday compared with 38 on a normal weekday and Monifieth gets 30 calls on a weekday compared to 0 on Sundays.
