Great Northern - Compensation for 25th and 26th (but only for Twitter users)

Nice to see on Twitter that Great Northern have finally agreed to compensate their season ticket holders they told not to travel on the 25th and 26th.

However disappointing they only bothered to publish the information on Twitter and not on their website... Do they not want people to claim or is this just the normal one star Great Northern customer service level?

"Finally" being on the second day of disruption.
Its on the website too, as per the link, even if it wasnt at 0900 on a Sunday.

Sorry, didn't realise informing customers via the web was a 9 to 5 Monday to Friday job for the railways.

I read about this on a newspaper website so the word was put out there. Unfair bash on the TOC I think on this occasion.
