Okay thank you!Different day my friend. You’ll get an email a few days after assessment, if successful, inviting you to interview
Sorry to bother you, I'm knew to this, I had my assessment today and did all 3 of above. I practised before hand and could not finish the raat and ticket selling questions but got about 3/4s through both of them, was these tests meant to be completed? As the time I had made it impossible1st was the Rules Accquisition Aptitude test, 2nd was Group Bourson, final test was ticket selling and checking
Hello friend. I think you’ll be ok, I can’t remember exactly how many questions I completed on my tests, but I definitely remember doing only around 3/4 for two of the tests and I still passed. I think I only had to wait 2-3 days until they told me I was successful so hopefully you won’t have to wait too longSorry to bother you, I'm knew to this, I had my assessment today and did all 3 of above. Yes, Group Bourden is the dots. However some/most TOCs use the SCAAT test for Guards which is similar but with shapes instead I believe.Group bourson test, is that the dots? I have an assessment day, this Tuesday for WMT and trying to get some more insight
Hard to say to be honest. I know for driver assessments some TOC/FOCs have enhanced and national standards so the amount one would pass with at national, wouldn’t necessarily be a pass at the enhanced standard. With Guard/Conductor assessments, as far as I’m aware there’s just the one standard, and as a rule of thumb, I’d say about halfway through each box (you get 2-minutes for each I recall?). The idea is to work quickly and accurately, so certainly don’t expect to complete the assessment in its entirety. If you did and got several wrong, you’d fail. If you did say half, and got it all correct, you’ll probably pass.Hi Stigy, just trying to establish what test i will be sitting, as the SCAAT is proving difficult to increase my speed,
Has anyone any idea of the number of correct answers that would give you a pass mark?
Yeah it's 9 lots of 1 minute blocks of shapes e.g. C / W \ § < >.Yes, Group Bourden is the dots. However some/most TOCs use the SCAAT test for Guards which is similar but with shapes instead I believe.

The 1st 3 are looking for 1 matching symbol, the next 3 are 2 matching symbols then the last 3 are 1 constant symbol and the 1st symbol of the row.
I would say SCAAT is harder than the dots, having done both, but accuracy is the main thing to focus on.
I found that naming them helped so with your ( I would call it a C and ) a backward C. Then I would just say it again and again in my head during the test.Hi Mathew and thank you for your reply, SCAAT is so hard to get into as I mistake the shape for the opposite so like ( becomes ) and so on (( becomes ))
Is there any way to hammer this home any advice that can be shared, I am getting fairly high scores, but speed and accuracy are taking some time catching up with each other
DID ANYONE ELSE find they improved, this is day 3 for me and having brought the Tests from OPC website I am trying to give myself the best possible chance of success
Any help appreciated
Thanks

With the one with constant symbol and 1st in the row, I would say constant 1st and 1st in row afterwards. For example row 1 - C \ C \ C \.... 2nd row C W C W C W.....
I only practiced the Scaat once as I had been doing the dots for quite a while. Just stay calm, stay hydrated and be as comfortable as you can.
Hope that helps
I’ve only ever done the dots and found that the easiest of all the driver psychometric assessments. The SCAAT does look more complex.Yeah it's 9 lots of 1 minute blocks of shapes e.g. C / W \ § < >.

Not sure what is easier being honest but my latest self test results wereI’ve only ever done the dots and found that the easiest of all the driver psychometric assessments. The SCAAT does look more complex.
I have never done the dot test, but will try once this assessment is completed. Its really strange how they can tell so much about you from a series of dotsI’ve only ever done the dots and found that the easiest of all the driver psychometric assessments. The SCAAT does look more complex.
It’s strange too, as some find it really difficult, and others find it easy. Compared to the numerous other tests, I found it a walk in the park to be honest!I have never done the dot test, but will try once this assessment is completed. Shouldn’t be too long, 2 days after my assessment day I got an email inviting me to an interview. This was last year though so it may take slightly longer this yearSo assessment day completed, Wow what an intense experience that was
Intial test was a group bourdon test and NO sign of the SCAAT test that I have been practising and have truly nailed it, getting up to 182 / 1 omission,
The dot test was really fast, and the shapes soon morphed into a huge blur.
Any ideas on a timeline for the application process from this point?
Thanks in advance
I today received confirmation I had passed the assessment day, and that interview dates had not been confirmed yet!,Shouldn’t be too long, 2 days after my assessment day I got an email inviting me to an interview. This was last year though so it may take slightly longer this year
Oh Ok, don’t worry about it too much though. You’ve passed the assessments which is the main thing, your assessment scores will last for 5 years from nowI today received confirmation I had passed the assessment day, and that interview dates had not been confirmed yet!,
