This web site https://sochi.camera has a large selection of live cameras around Sochi on Russia's Black Sea coast and in the mountains inland some of which show trains.

This first one shows the main station in Sochi: https://sochi.camera/en#/205
This one is about 6 miles north of Sochi looking south: https://sochi.camera/en#/85
A few miles further north is this one looking north: https://sochi.camera/en#/248
About 6 miles south of Sochi there's this one looking south: https://sochi.camera/en#/310
Lastly, this one gives a view of the airport station at Sochi Adler: https://sochi.camera/en#/166

You will find a few other cameras that show trains but the above seem to be the better ones.

Trains are fairly sparse so if anyone can find a timetable please post a link.

Here is a webcam, its currently free but for how long i dont know. Its out in Flagstaff Arizona. You can switch between 2 cameras by clicking on the box with the arrows on then you can view from the east or west. With the current low sun you don get the best of views. It seems very popular, please report back with what you think of it. link:

Ref it being free as with their cam at Ashland I think they are permanent as they are locally sponsored and not reliant on people paying.
I usually go on the Flagstaff cam at about 1220 uk time to see the EB Amtrak #4 which can be seen the nest day at 1555 uk time on the LaPlata cam.

CN 5457 080218 BELLEVILLE.jpg I actually subscribe to an American rail webcam called Railstream, having at one time been a subscriber to Virtual railfan I find the Railstream site is by far the best for quality, hopefully i am able to attach a screen grab i copied a short while ago. If you have any interest in American railways the Railstream is the site to join.

Edit: I should have added the Railstream site have currently 20 cameras with most in full HD though the free cameras are not full HD

I am a member of Railstream.
I joined in its early days when they had only the one cam on Main Street,Fostoria.
I dont watch so much now but when I do I usually watch on their quad view.
Usually Fostoria East and West,Chesterton West and Chicago dipping into the other cams as I wish.

There are a few webcams showing trains in Sweden.

Here are the two based at SJ's Hagalund depot which is the largest maintenance depot in northern Europe. There are around 50 tracks in the depot and with 100 or so trains coming in for maintenance daily there is always something to see.

However there are a few drawbacks in the positioning of the cameras which are at one side of the huge site: a lot of the tracks are a long way from the cameras . Also the south-facing camera hagalund 1 can have the sun 'in its eyes' for long periods. The depot is lit at night but again only the closest tracks are easily visible.

These are live cameras but the pictures are rather jerky which suggests a one second refresh rate.

Please note that the times shown are strange; hagalund 1 is about 22 minutes behind the local time and hagalund 2 is one hour behind winter time. It can be a good idea to click page refresh if the time indicator seems to have stopped.

In the far north is Bastuträsk which has a camera at the station.

There are few passenger trains here 5-6 per day with some freights passing through.

A new notice has recently gone up on the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway webcam:

"Please note that you are not permited to save webcam images without direct permission from the people within the frame under the new GDPR legislation."

That sounds like someone at the Ratty has misunderstood what GDPR is about and what it involves.

Came across Rail Cams UK, joined the paid streaming service for £15 a Year, gives you more cameras. They also stream via YouTube some of there supporter only cameras (this is how I found their site). Just watch out for their moderator on the YouTube chat he can be a bit abrupt towards people.

New webcam here on the famous Tehachapi Pass in the US Dont go looking now as its middle of the night.

It certainly looks like it - the middle of nowhere on the darkest of nights! (But for the fact that "This live stream recording is not available" is written across the screen).

There is more than 1 moderator on YouTube. I will find out who he is and give him 100 lines !Sorry for any offence on his behalf !

Has anybody else had any trouble logging in to Railcams.uk recently? It says "User accounts have been transferred from the old website, BUT...You will need to set a new password before being able to log-in: Please enter your username, then click Forgot password? - or First Login. A new temporary password will be emailed to you. But no e-mail arrives (and yes I have checked my junk folder).

Yes I had that problem. In the end I had to email them direct and they reset my password and sent it to me so I could get in, then I reset it myself to the password I wanted.

Thanks Condor. I was wondering if it had been me that had done something stupid , but presumably not. I'm tending to view webcams through Youtube nowadays anyway, as I can then easily have them on the TV.

Pray tell... what is ROC please?
I think its Railway Operations Centre ...

Railcam claim to all be volunteers , can see thats all it started, but there must be more to it now if they are working with the professionals at Network Rail.Surely it must increase the value of Railcam if its a Limited company ?
