Hi
Travelling to London this August via mainline rail from Holyhead (short notice trip) and was wondering how (if possible at all) can I get priv travel on my oyster card?
Do I have to pre apply through Irish Rail here in Dublin or can I rock up to a manned ticket booth produce my PTI and get priv travel on our Oyster cards? Or better still is there anyway of doing it online? Our HR office here is as slow as …. so wont have time to process through them

Thanks in advance for all and any help on above

You can apply on the Rail Delivery Group website in the staff travel section for a form to be emailed to you, which you then take to an Underground Station so the staff can apply the discount to your Oystercard.
I'm trying to find the page to do a link, but cannot find it at the moment

Edit - found it

Not sure if this form applies to FIP entitlements, though. It might be worth emailing Rail Staff Travel and asking them, or your own employer

Unsafeguarded only get National Rail discount on an Oystercard (and that's only a relatively recent invention - about 4 years ago?). There must be a form for that somewhere - although in theory National Rail stations still have ticket offices, so you should still be able to buy normal cardboard Priv tickets
Although not sure if FIP arrangement gets discount on London Underground? They might do, I'm not sure.

Edit - I've found the instructions for non-safeguard. You have to do it at a list of certain National Rail ticket offices:

Presumably once its been put on your Oystercard, you can renew it at any London Underground station in the future
