Retro Railtours have announced details of their second trip in 2019, from Banbury to Blackpool North on Saturday 10th August: https://www.retrorailtours.co.uk/rt20.php There are no details about motive power.
This is from their website:
This August, we are travelling from Oxfordshire and through the Midlands and Cheshire to Blackpool, for the annual Blackpool Airshow. The trip is running on Saturday 10th August, and will be timed to allow you to see the airshow - a free event over the Blackpool seafront - and allow some time to visit the attractions this popular seaside resort has to offer.

Thank you very much for posting this. I've done a quick search for Retro Railtours and the motive power could be a 31/37/55/68. I know that it is very difficult to know the motive power for this at the moment but hey ho.

Is there a 31 mainline cleared?

Would have thought 37s or 68 on this

Unfortunately I won’t be doing this tour for two reasons, I live in Blackpool and really don’t have a desire to travel down south to come back home and I’m not interested in the traction.

Might have wander along to see the rolling stock. Who will be providing the carriages? I couldn't see any mention of that on their website.

Reported in the Liverpool Echo tomorrow the proposed Air Show is cancelled for the Saturday but will go ahead Sunday any one for the pub report of 45 mph due to cancellation
