Thinking I was sat in the Piggy Bank's cafe bar/pub before departing for a train from the station opposite - Trinity Street in Bolton. Although they offer free wifi so timings can be checked, which is great, thought how useful it would be if all a pax had to do was peep at a screen on the wall. I suggested this to the landlord...we shall see! To their benefit if a train's delayed there might be an extra half bought!!

Anyhow I wonder how many pubs there are outside stations which show this information which can easily be done these days by casting Trainline or Nat. Rail Enquiries?

The Doric Arch, just outside Euston Station, has a screen. Good range of beers too, and discount for CAMRA members!

Thanks, I use Euston quite a bit. Using the Virgin first-class using the lounge upstairs, I find the screens as inadequate as the choice of beers!!!

**Note also for those who aren't local - thanks to that link - it was formerly the famous "Head of Steam".

The one.across the road from Preston Station does, but I cant remember the name of it.
Is that the one with the train running above the bar that I saw years ago? Think it's the Railway or the Station!
Edit; Open Street map suggests "The Station Hotel".

Most station 'spoons have tiger or ***** screens where the station have given them a login.

The Town Crier opposite Chester station has a tiger screen.

And a shout out for Platform 3, Linlithgow :)

(photo is from several years ago and was an early version of live-departures.info on refresh - that screen is part of our digital signage network now)
How do we get that blue display at home as seen in the background @ Linlithgow?

The Northwesten pub, which is a Wetherspoons at Lime Street Station in Liverpool also displays all City Line departures on various screens throughout the pub.

Aye that's the one! The Old Vic.

New to me! But I know the McDonald's and a former(?) café in the Fishergate Centre did. Wouldn't be surprised to hear if a few more did.

I suspect the new Lancaster Brewery pub will have them when it opens. Don't think any in Lancaster do at the moment, would be a nice addition!

The Anglers in Saxilby has a screen which shows live departures but it's rotated with a hundred other things. You notice it, but then have to buy another pint (and/or miss your train) before it comes round again... It's easier to just look it up on your phone

There's a newly-opened(?) place in Carrington Street, Nottingham which has a notice outside saying that it has a live departures screen, but I haven't checked it out.

The Milecastle Wetherspoons in Newcastle has a screen downstairs (though only seems to be used at breakfast and rush hour afternoons)

It’s a few minutes walk from Central so don’t know if it’s a Wetherspoon policy that if you’re near a station you get one.

The Parcel Yard in Leicester has a live departures board at the end of the bar (or did, 2014-2018).
