Sadly the next bus onwards leaves only a minute later, so we'll have to wait an hour for the 0725 Courtney Buses service 2 to Slough (Windsor Road McDonalds), arriving there at 0750 on Saturday morning.

We take the 10 minute 0.5 mile walk to High Wycombe bus station and catch the 1036 Arriva Beds & Bucks service 32 to Cressex, New Road/Turnpike Corner arriving there at 1050 on Saturday morning.

I really don't understand where you get your distances from. Google Maps is telling me it's 12 minutes and 0.7 miles?

It's not pedantic; I'm just following the rules....

But obviously it doesn't matter....

From York, we retire for the night and return on the 0606 First York service 4 to Acomb (Clockhouse), arriving there at 0629 on Sunday morning.

Well to be fair it was very unclear - I was going from a bus stop marked ‘High Street’ but said bus stop was nowhere near Watford High Street Station. The problem is ‘High Street’ is a linear road and not all the stops are in the same place it seems.

From Rougier Street, we walk 0.3 miles to York Station (or 0.2 miles depending on where you measure from!) where we board the 08:55 LNER service 1S05 to Berwick-upon-Tweed, arriving at 11:06 Sunday morning.
