Does anyone know what the hold up making LNER tickets available is?

It's been stuck at the 11th of October for weeks. When I queried this with them last week they didn't really give me a proper answer. I'm waiting to book tickets for mid-October.

Well they have recently released the tickets for 21/22 September that were missing. No idea when because the bloody alerts service failed to notify me. I found out just by chance.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't due to late confirmation by Network Rail of any engineering works. The last I heard on the matter was this, posted two weeks ago:
Nothing was released this week (trust me I know) so we may catch up in the next couple of weeks.
Since that was reported, some dates have been released.

I am also wondering what the hold up is as I am looking to visit a friend in Newark relatively soon. If these more affordable fares aren't release soon I won't be able to at this rate

I don't quite follow the logic; indeed the reverse can be true:
The ticket for my train finally became available, and it turned out that it was much cheaper than I'd seen before. I only paid £54.80.
