I've bought direct from Eurostar a ticket to Amsterdam. I need to go to another station in NL, and I've just found this b-europe.com site which can sell a through itinerary, which is a little annoying.

It has the next journey listed as:

Is it possible to buy this ticket separately from somewhere?

Just to add even more confusion, if it's possible to buy that ticket is it possible to get the €2.60 supplement to be able to travel on ICE services also?

According to the NMBS 'productfiche', the Connect ESN tariff can be sold only within the same NMBS booking reference, which most likely means "while the ticket is being booked at NMBS". The 'online sales conditions' section seems to confirm this:

Online aankoop kan uitsluitend gelijktijdig met het internationaal vervoerbewijs.
Online purchase can only be done simultaneously with the international ticket.

It looks like it's not possible to purchase "Connect ESN" separately or once the ticket has already been bought.

Not quite as cheap, but there are usually special offers online, such as this:

You can get the supplement from any NS ticket machine, or online.

Cool - this says Schiphol though, does it include Centraal?

Not sure if Centraal is an acceptable route from Schiphol to Aalten but Amsterdam Zuid definitely is, assuming it is OK to start short. The worst case scenario would be having to get a single to Bijlmer Arena to get on the direct route but then I guess you have to stop there.

There are other offers which might be of interest, for example 2 singles for 25.00, 20.00 at the weekend.

That's a good deal but it seems NS only accepts IDEAL payments, which I don't have :(

Most of the stuff linked there is not offered through the Spoordeelwinkel but rather by other companies, which do accept more normal payment options. You could get the Eurostar to Rotterdam C and use the aforementioned "Airport Singles" from Rotterdam, changing at Utrecht and Arnhem. Actie van de Dag accepts PayPal, Visa and Mastercards.

Even if you have bought a ticket to Amsterdam, there is stopping you from getting off at Rotterdam anyway. Barriers are not a worry because you don't need to pass through them when changing trains.

Even if you were buying these discounted tickets from NS, which you aren't, NS now also accept credit cards.

The only issue with Active van de Dag is that the address field only accepts certain countries and you cannot give a UK address. But I just make up a fake Netherlands address which works anyway.

Definitely can't see how to do it on the NS site, but I think I've figured on that other one. Do you know if you can get two seperate journies. We are going to Amsterdam Centraal on Eurostar, going to another place, then flying out of Eindhoven airport. Is each sector of the 'ticket' valid anywhere?

To be clear, these special offer tickets are not on the NS site. I was just pointing out that NS accept credit cards. If you get the 2 tickets for 25.00 or day ticket offer then these are valid anywhere, subject to peak hour restrictions. The airport ones are only valid to/from the nearest airport stations, and there are different links from and to the airport (heen/terug)

Depending on how long you're staying in the Netherlands, there are various tickets which may be of interest.

If you're not interested in Amsterdam itself, it might be worth getting off the Eurostar at Rotterdam Centraal and using the ActieVanDeDag airport connect ticket linked before to go from Rotterdam to your final destination (Aalten). It's about as quick as going via Amsterdam.

ActieVanDeDag also sell a single ticket to Schiphol Airport, Rotterdam Centraal and Eindhoven. You can buy that here. Important to note is that this is just a journey by train, the bus transfer from Eindhoven to its airport is not included.

you do NOT need to pay this with any INTernational ticket that covers the section Rotterdam-Schiphol (thats the only section for which the supplmt is required).

As said, you cannot now add these cheaper options anymore. And even IF, they would only be valid on the normal=shortest in KMs or time, connecting route to the €*, which is in both cases certainly NOT via AMS and for Ehv-airport even not allowed at all (it would also have to be connected as pre-€* sector).
Also if you consider to do this trip more or for others: there is also since a year or so Happyrail, com, run by the treinreiswinkel as online -rail-booking with same prices as the railways themselves and able to offer more options, but only for INTernational trips. It does take cr-cds but still charges a 3% commission, which as such is illegal in the EU since 1/1/19.

I'm referring to the ICE supplement, not the InterCity Direct bit.
