I recently undertook a journey which was 59.5 mins late into Birmingham New Street from Darlington. The ticket was bought on the TPE website so should I submit my claim to them or XC ?
Also as the delay was 59.5 mins is it rounded up or down as that makes a big difference to the percentage of compensation ?
Thanks.

What train was it? So we can accurately tell you how late it was.

The only one I can see that was 59.5 minutes late into Birmingham New Street from Darlington is today's 11:04 departure due 13:27 http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/P38749/2019/08/23/advanced I can see that it was reported as arriving at 14:26 1/2 so technically would fall into the 30-59 minutes category. However it may have actually been 60 minutes late by the time doors opened.

As all (direct) services on this route are operated by Cross Country, you should claim with them (as they are the company who delayed you therefore it is their responsibility to COMPENSATE you not the retailers responsibility as it is not a REFUND)

The XC delay repay page asks for "Booking reference/ticket number/Smartcard number" . Will the 8 digit alphanumeric reference number I used to collect the tickets from the TVM at my local station suffice ?
