Guessing it will be working the full diagram which finishes at Manchester Piccadilly at 0120 in the morning? Presumably to make up for lost mileage yesterday.

68026/TP11 should pick up the diagram from 12:56 at Manchester Victoria (to Liverpool). 185142 currently working it.

Confirmed by multiple contacts that 68026/TP11 will be taking over 1F62 at MCV. It will then continue the rest of the diagram....

  • 1E39 1356 Liverpool Lime Street to Scarborough
  • 1F76 1744 Scarborough to Liverpool Lime Street
  • 1J53 2056 Liverpool Lime Street to Stalybridge

Given there are 2 var paths from LO to LIV/MCV in the early morning, does this give an option to start the 68 at LIV or is a 185 kept at LO for the LIV start and the 68 head for MCV to take over the diagram? ... that's when things go to plan of course!

The plan is for a Nova 3 to run to LIV ECS to start the 0556, and then another set runs ECS to work the 0555 off MCV to LIV
There shouldn’t be any swapping of Cl185/Nova 3 when the diagram goes in properly

The unit that the 68 is replacing has gone into P5 at MCV to form 9M09.
If the signaller has any sense, he will stick 5F62 in P4...

That’s exactly what’s happened. Can confirm that it is 68026 and Mk5s. Still got the brand new train smell

Thanks so much for keeping us updated earlier. It’s actually really quiet on the move assuming you’re not in first class, but it does know how to start back up. Can’t upload the video as it’s too large, but here’s a (small file size) picture at MCV.
