Anyone who has been in to drop the pre-employment forms and ID documents in to WM at Birmingham for the forthcoming TD courses, can you confirm if this is just a quick, informal meeting, or is there more to it?
I’m wondering how long I may be there, and also whether I need to dress smart, or casual?

It’s pretty quick. 15/20 mins if that. I went in jeans and a jumper as I was shopping in Birmingham at the time and it was much more relaxed there than when I went for my interview.

Thanks for that. I was hoping that would be the case

It could be for next years courses, the gap between my stage 1 assessment and stage 2 assessment was 5 months.

Thanks. Tests are dots, glop, dials, tones, symbols, tones & symbols together and fault finding. I found the glop hard but the rest ok. Make sure you understand the fault finding process.

Is there anything I can find for glop and fault finding test or look out for they sent me a few tests to look at but don't seem much information in there to be honest

The fault finding is the same as the practice stuff they sent you. I think there are more online. The glop is memorising a page of writing and answering multiple choice questions about it. Try reading a book or paper & getting someone to ask you questions.

Well done mate. No I've not heard anything yet, although that's a positive for me as I'm on holiday on the 19th so couldn't do it anyway. Good luck though.

All courses for this year have been filled subject to medicals, that's information from my driver manager, they do have a course Januray so maybe for start of year?

I only used what they sent me & found it enough to pass. Download the Group Bourdon tool from here and practice that. It’s easier on paper though, so maybe print some pages off if you can.

Like others I Had previously received the email stating that everything was done for this year and they would be in touch for further assessments possibly into next year

Just had an email inviting me for stage 2 at the end of Sept so possibly getting everybody to similar stages for next year?

still happy that things are still progressing!
