Hi I was looking at Google StreetView around the area I live and was blown away to see a DRS 37 and 20 loading up with nuclear cannisters - note the armed police!

google class 37 and 20

Wonder if anyone else has found remarkable train shots on Google...

(Oh and hello by the way, Alan in Dunbar)

Amazing how, given the fact there might possibly be a case for national security (unlikely if it is as open as this in real life, mind) the police are obviously not that bothered about being photographed by a vehicle driving along with an incredibly obvious 360 degree camera poking out the top.

Yet, take a photo of a PCSO and you're instantly a terrorist!

As I've taken photographs of the police and army in China without complaint, I suspect this proves that the people who really DO have the power aren't as likely to demonstrate their powers as much as those that don't.

A side note to the above link, the street view is quite recent, but if you zoom out to the original satellite view, you will notice the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway is not actually there! It must have been taken a good few years back.

not at street level but zooming in to Stonebridge Park near Willesdon Jnc are what looks to be around 28 tracks with some occupied by either Virgin voyagers or pendos and i'm sure there's class 43 virgin HST there. not sure when this was taken.
