I believe it's an average 5 day week - 7*5 = 35Also would anyone know how the rota works out? It says 35 hours would that be a 4 day week?

It's an average mind. So some will be over 7, some may be less. It's location dependant

Fully depends on the shift pattern. When I was based at newton Abbot I used to get a week of rest days every so many weeks due to longer shifts , I belive the sda role does days and nights as well .
Thanks for the info. I was hoping it was 4 day week with longer days but i dont mind 5 days really.
Always a plus if you get extra days off tho as you say its like an extra weeks holiday.
Is the job interesting? Do you like the role? Atm i have to work 45 hours plus to get the same money as its saying and its only 35 hrs so for me its alot better.

I spent nearly 7 years on the station at newton Abbot and totnes , loved the job and have some cracking memories from those years.. I believe the photos of me are up in the totnes staff wall of fame .... if I could go stay on the same money as I am now then I would be back like a shot.....
