Coaches for 802217 arriving at Merchants Park. 834217 arrived early PM while another could be seen waiting to be off loaded.

So when are all the stopping markers for the TPEs 802s supposed to appear?

Some are shared with LNER, some of the TPE stations have them fitted shared with the 68 markers. I'll see if I can spot some while I'm out today and phot them

Are these expected on Airport or Liverpool diagrams first?

Might be a stupid question but Do the 802s arrived fully liveried or is the livery applied after each unit is delivered?

Just asking as their were some unliveried 802s running around

Of the 802s built at Pistoia (Italy) (802203-802214), 802209 upwards are being outshopped from Eastleigh in full TPE colours.
All units are in plain grey by default. 802203-208 haven't yet been stickered up. Neither have 802202 and 802215-217. 213, 214, 218 and 219 are yet to arrive. 201 was liveried at Doncaster Carr, and 202-208 + 215-219 probably will be too.

How many have TPE ordered?

What baffles me is why this forum is only 30 pages long while the nova 3 one is much much longer. Is information harder to come by on these sets or is the hype not there??

Or is it as simple as a smoother trial period?

These things don't have locos on one end... and the others have diesels which seems to be getting some people very over-excited.

They're also not new. The discussion on Class 80x has been done to death when GWR first introduced them. All the other 80x are essentially the same bar the colour of the paint and seat covers.

They're essentially identical to a fleet already implemented elsewhere. The hundreds of pages about the units themselves happened in the GWR thread, anything here only concerns their particular deployment to TPE.
