Interesting challenge. One tip if you’re going to do this is to look at the positions of the stations in relation to each other on a proper map. Some, e.g. Williamwood and Clarkston, Coatbridge Sunnyside/Central and Paisley Canal/Gilmour Street are walkable so you can do some sections in one direction only. You can also “cheat” by buying extra tickets to get from e.g. Cumbernauld to Croy via Grahamston/Larbert or Polmont. Motherwell to Carfin and Barrhead to Neilston are probably bus-able as well.

Has anyone used this ticket to visit all the stations in the Glasgow area. It is great value at £7.20

Just wondering if anyone had a route they took to travel to all the stations in a day without going outside the valid zone.
Are you looking at boarding or alighting at all the stations, calling at all the stations or just passing through all the stations?
I've just quickly whipped up the following to call at all the stations, which I admit is not likely to be useful to you since it starts and finishes at Milliken Park, my local station. This is only suitable for someone who can walk pretty fast. Caldercruix is a complete pain in the backside to do - for most of the day the connection to turn back there is 2 minutes or less. The connection at Dalreoch and the connection at GLQ between the Maryhill line and something useful at that point (either an Airdrie stopper or a Croy stopper) are quite long as well.

Thanks and an interesting timetable you have managed to put together (Very quickly)
Calling at all stations is what I would look at.
Your start point is handy being at end of a line but not actually too far from me (I would probably choose Paisley or Barrhead as starting point)

Can I ask did you do this manually or have some tool?

Would you not want a daytripper and do the whole branches ?

It was an idea to do more but where do you stop. And I wanted to do something that is achievable in a day.
My thought is the Glasgow and surrounding area version of the London Tube challenge and to see how quickly it could be done
