Describe a time you have been on a training course over 2 weeks

I've seen this is a common question for DMIs and MMIs.

This is one I've been struggling with so I'm wondering if anybody has experience of answering this question with either of the following answers:
  • Describing completing a university year (or module)
  • Describing taking driving lessons 2 hours per week and passing
Has anyone here used either of these answers with success? Do people feel either of those would be an acceptable answer? Or are they looking for only work or safety based answers?

I answered by using I've been learning to be an electrician in my spare time. I've also used my guards course before as that was 3 months training .

I discussed university and it was fine. I also discussed the training period I had to do for my role atm as I'm safety critical so it was classroom training, shadowing and an assesment at the end.

I used something similar to university (work based chartered status consisting of 4 x 6 month modules)

So you were required to give two answers to the question? Does that imply they didn't like one answer?

Nope, I jus gave two examples. I already discussed uni for one of my questions so I just highlighted it again briefly and then I discussed about my current role.
