Does anyone know if the 37s will be out today? Thanks.
dosn’t look like it at the moment, currently shut down in the low level.

[Assuming it runs] this would seem to be it:

For those wishing to wave goodbye, via Thetford and Ely West Curve, scheduled to leave GA routes through Peterborough P7 at 11.42 ....
They could do with keeping all the 170's. A 153 ended up doing Norwich to Cambridge yesterday. Not much fun to be on. Neither was the 2-car 156 that was losing time. yes there was a level crossing issue. But despite that it was dropping time on every station to station section. Rubbish!Only 1 x 170 departing the Anglia Region for pastures new tomorrow, seems 270 likes it here so much, it's staying on for a bit
I'm sure I predicted that several months ago! Not looking good for 755s either. Have they even started crew training for the Stansted route?According to Rail magazine deputy editor - Richard Clinninck - there is no chance of the Class 720s being introduced into service this year.
I can believe that. There's no sign of one coming down here yet is there? Between the local testing and driver training that needs to take place, I suspect, as per the 710s, they're about exactly a year behind schedule, so let's say February.According to Rail magazine deputy editor - Richard Clinninck - there is no chance of the Class 720s being introduced into service this year.
Do you mean 745s? 755s are already in operation, albeit not on every route yet.I'm sure I predicted that several months ago! Not looking good for 755s either. Have they even started crew training for the Stansted route?
"Doors open on moving Southend train for 23 minutes"Haven't seen this anywhere on the forum yet.

Makes for an alarming reading.
Yes, a Renatus one."Doors open on moving Southend train for 23 minutes"
Is that a bin? (Class 321)
The way that the country's economy has worsened (and will continue to worsen) since 2016 should have no impact on the franchise though, as the terms for it were set back when it was awarded. Are there situations where financial hardship has caused any of the franchise requirements to be broken? (Other than, of course, the introduction dates of new stock which isn't really a financial problem, at least not by cause)As I've said elsewhere it's a bad day on Greater Anglia. If our MPs weren't so busy protecting their careers and bank accounts under the pretence of "Protecting our Sovereignty" the escalating crisis on the railways may have been addressed. Everything is falling apart, it takes 5 weeks to get a GP consultation in my town, by our MP spends his days retweeting dubious "news" articles from alt-right media outlets and has stopped trying to give the appearance that he is representing anything but his own tax status and off-shore bank accounts. Sorry, that's been a long time brewing-up and I claim OP privilege. I'm livid in so many ways.

Yes, with the temporary exception granted to run 321s past the PRM deadline, the 360s will be among the first units to go off-lease, after the oldest 317s. If enough 720s are in service to replace them by June 2020, 5-6 months should hopefully be enough to tidy them up and perform the requisite tests and driver training. It will be tight, but it should be doable unless the 720s are delayed any further, which of course is entirely possible.Am I right in thinking it is the 720s that will displace the 360s to work the Corbys?
Electric services to Corby are due to start December 2020... Can this still be achieved in theory? I'm wondering how long it would take to do the 360 upgrade and for the crews to gain route/traction knowledge - once a 720 has actually entered service!
On the East side Liverpool St (ex-Anglia) Ipswich & Norwich work the IC services on the GEML. Not exactly sure which depots sign Stansted but I'm guessing Stortford & Cambridge for sure.Yes apologies for the typo, I did mean 745s. How many train crew depots work Norwich to Liverpool Street and Liverpool Street to Stansted?

Yeah there is now, wasn't when I posted this - I wasn't in a position to create my own thread for it at the time. By the time I went to do so, said thread had appeared. There's another thread in the main National Rail forum

That's why I saw 170270 heading towards Ipswich leaving Norwich at 1631 to then cover Felixstowe services. Has anyone seen 204 since the deer incident apart from on Crown Point?
