Knew nothing of this event until I was out photographing 45699 on Sunday when I saw a roadside hoarding advertising it. As I was only 11 minutes away, I popped in to spend a pleasant few hours before 45699 headed back to Burton-on-Trent.
A few pictures taken during the day.

Looks great! How long is the line?

According to Wikipedia the 2ft gauge line is 1.5 miles long plus the garden railway but no length given for that. There is also a short section of 18" gauge and another short section of standard gauge for the tram.

A good run then! Cheers.

It's only in the last month or so that I've started hearing a lot more about the Statfold Barn Railway from a range of sources, and seeing these photos and having looked into it some more it seems to be a much more comprehensive and extensive operation than I previously thought. I might have to take a look at some point next year.

In regards to taxis...

Recently, during big events, Arriva have ran a dedicated bus service from Tamworth town centre to Statfold Barn.

Statfold Barn is a must for any steam enthusiast, I went to the enthusiasts day about 15 months ago. Planning to return next year.
