Lack of Wright logo was previous managements style choice. It was thought to be sleeker. But the nee management like having all the right logos in all the right places. So all of Lothians Gemini's, Gemini 2's (And Gemini 3's between 2014-2015). Arrived badgeless OR these were removed shortly after arrival.
ahahah, good oneAs per what i said above:
The 64 plates are the original Gemini 3 body using the "Wright Millennium" design that the MK1 and MK2 are based on, however on the original MK3 there was major changes to the interior design along with shallower upper deck windows. Around a year later Wright came out with a facelifted version ditching the Millennium design known as the "Stealth".
Shouldn't that be "all the wright logos in all the wright places"?..
Sorry i couldn't resist.

ngl i really like the gemini 3 MK2s, unpopular opinionThanks @Jordan Adam and @OmniCity999 as always for quality answers! The Gemini 3 facelifts do looks the sharpest but they tend to be amongst the shooglyist, if that's even a word!

The Gemini 3 MK2 is the same as the MK1 but with a completely different front wich is the only differenceWhich leads me to wonder why the latest Gemini bodywork hasn't been dubbed Gemini 4 & Eclipse 4, given they are rather different from older models.
only rear difference of the 2 geminis is the rear middle window shapeIndeed. It is only a facelift on the front and rear. But it is relatively major.

This perhaps a reason Lothian have moved to ADL for there latest stuff. In view of the news coming out of Ballymena, will it matter if they're Wright or not?
i use them all the time and the build quality is like a 10 year old used glue to build it, all the seats and poles rattle every slight bump. still quite like them thoughProbably more to do with the atrocious bulld quality of their recent products.
The 18 plate Gemini 3s at Central are awful buses, and I absolutely hate driving them.
Most buses have at least some good things about them, but with those I'm struggling to find anything at all.
Thanks so much for thatMy friends old fleetlist (https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/eb788a_007ecde4cd464e90933956b526fef021.pdf) details the gearbox configurations, it's VERY out of date though! Voith was the choice of old management, then when the B5TL came out, it was cheaper to spec with ZF so they were bought as such. The new management prefer ZF's so they have continued with them.
It's the way they felt like they were ready to fall to bits when brand new that really got me.i use them all the time and the build quality is like a 10 year old used glue to build it, all the seats and poles rattle every slight bump. still quite like them though
The 44 has nothing newer than an 11 plate on it today. On Saturday it had 13 vehicles that were 15 plate or newer. Bear in mind Lothian are operating a Saturday service today.Only 3 55 plate B7s are out today 703-705, 707, 708, 734 & 738 all not in service today and it would appear probobly withdrawn. only 706, 737 & 747 out for the 55 plates
Once again showing complete disregard for the majority of their customers. Who’s actually got the day off today? I only know of the schools. They claim there’s a reduction in usage but whenever I see buses on these days they’re absolutely rammed full.Bear in mind Lothian are operating a Saturday service today.
ignore that, 706 & 737 have both been taken off now. Looks like 747 is the only 55 plate remainingOnly 3 55 plate B7s are out today 703-705, 707, 708, 734 & 738 all not in service today and it would appear probobly withdrawn. only 706, 737 & 747 out for the 55 plates
