Just north of Burton railway station there is what I assume is a railway breakers yard.

Some of the coaches look well past saving, but there are some lovely looking blue and cream BR coaches that look like time stood still in 1994.

Does anyone know their likely fate?

Google takes me to a place called 'Nemesis Rail' on the map. In their yard you can see a couple of Colas 37s and a Peak! It looks like the sort of place diesel traction goes to die, but presumably they are doing work for various heritage outfits?

Definitely not a breakers yard, As Alanko correctly idetifies it's the base for Nemesis Rail, who undertake a range of overhauls and restorations for various customers, often in the heritage sector.

The BR blue and grey carriage rake is Riveria Trains' set of mark 2s actively used on railtour duties, which is based at the Burton site.

Coincidentally, it sounds as if it's exactly the same sidings where BR used to keep their summer Skegness Mk1 set(s) of all maroon carriages back in the early 70s.
