Not to mention since it was extended a few years ago, has the starting signal for reversals halfway along it!And of course platform 3 is the only one with level access!
Stafford platform 6
Sandbach platform 3
Crewe platform 12 has nothing timetabled, but is nevertheless used frequently
Does platform 6 at Wolverhampton still see any use ?
Unless TfL have explicitly un-numbered the Main Line platforms then most of the stations between Liverpool Street and Shenfield during normal service.
Platform 7 Norwood Junction (it even has no track!)
Also the FL platforms (3 & 4) at New Cross Gate since the 2018 TT change
Crewe plat 12 does have booked trains. In a morning it's quite busy as a 12 car 350 runs in a d divides to form the first 3 liverpool, all booked off there then the 67 hauled sets does the 7:11 Chester and TfW 7:34 Birmingham via Shrewsbury also booked off 12.Stafford platform 6

Southampton Platform 5
Bournemouth platform 1?
Isn't there a platform at Portsmouth Harbour that lacks any track?
'Platform 7' at Preston (or depending which signaller is on, '9') is on what's now the Up & Down Goods line so any passenger trains would need specific permission to accept a route into that platform. When the golf was on at St Anne's a few years ago Northern ran some specials and they ran to & from the PCD (Down & Up Goods) across from platform 1, again under special dispensation. They probably used that platform rather than '7' for pathing reasons.Platform 7 at Preston
On a similar note, Platform 3 at Dewsbury is actually the stage in the beer garden of the West Riding inn. I don't think the band Train have ever played there, unfortunately*.
*=it's only unfortunate from a pun point-of-view, as they're about as interesting as a discussion about the voice-actors who do PIS work!
Ditto Northfield! (and, until very recently, Barnt Green for 1 & 2)Kings Norton 2 and 3?
Doncaster platform 2 - a south facing bay only used to stable stock. The EMR Lincoln’s could use it, but don’t! No other services can’t use it as it doesn’t connect to the Sheffield lines and is too short for normal LNER trains. Maybe a 5 car Azusa would fit, but no southbound service trains start from Doncaster now.
Yes, 1 (or 5?), nearest the main entrance. I believe the pier the station is built on isn't strong enough any more to take 5 full trains, so with no physical track there's no risk of it happening!Isn't there a platform at Portsmouth Harbour that lacks any track?
North end bays at Stirling I think. South ones were also barely used until the last resignalling
It’s platform 2 that has no track, and isn’t numbered, P1 is nearest the entrance and generally used by Cardiff trains. I’d have said P2 wasn’t in scope of this question though...Yes, 1 (or 5?), nearest the main entrance. Nothing booked now according to the carriage working notices.Does Bournemouth platform 4 have any booked use?
I was on a train that was terminated there (the unit had failed) earlier this year and passengers sent to walk back to platform 3 to boardd another service.

Yes, 4 & 5 at the north end are only used for stabling stock. The last set of points leading into them are hand operated.
