Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but supposing I did a 7 day ALR which commenced on a Monday, am I able to use a Caledonian Sleeper train back from Scotland, leaving the following Sunday evening, bearing in mind it would then stretch into the Monday on arrival in London?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Does anyone know the opening times for the left luggage facility at Inverness station?

I'm not 100% but I'm fairly certain you have to book onto the sleeper.

Okay, not quite the question asked though.

(I assume you mean Sunday night - wouldn't take from Tuesday to Monday even on CS!)

Unfortunately it is the other way round. CS state that "tickets need to be valid on the date of arrival in destination, not necessarily date of departure."

Yes, sorry, I missed the word 'Sunday' out when typing. It would have helped wouldn't it?

Agreed, my understanding was effectively you can use it the 'night before you start'. I have an ALR planned to start on a Wednesday in a few weeks, so could theoretically use it on the sleeper on the Tuesday evening if I wanted to.
