We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 743 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Rhymney Lower & Pontlottyn
It follows the line of the B&MR Rhymney to Pengam Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Brecon and Merthyr Railway
It then follows the line of the Mid-Wales Railway
It then follows the line of the Hereford, Hay and Brecon Railway
It then follows the line of the Newport, Abergavenny and Hereford Railway...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Merthyr, Tredegar and Abergavenny Railway
It then follows the line of the Brynmawr and Blaenavon Railway
It then follows the line of the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway
It then follows the line of the Monmouthshire Railway and Canal Company
It then follows the line of the Pontypool, Caerleon and Newport Railway
It then follows the line of the Newport, Abergavenny and Hereford Railway
It then follows the line of the Coleford, Monmouth, Usk and Pontypool Railway
It then follows the line of the Wye Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the GWR Gloucester to Newport Line
It then follows the line of the South Wales Railway
It then follows the line of the Barry Railway, Barry to Porth Line
It then follows the line of the Taff Vale Railway
It then follows the line of the TVR Maerdy Branch Line
The journey ends at the closed station of Maerdy

The first closed station on this journey is Rhymney Lower & Pontlottyn
