Hello all,
Sorry if this is the wrong thread, please move if needed, but I need some help as having only done the Scot Rail region a handful of times, my knowledge is hopeless!
I'm wishing to know about the 2012 period, what stock would have ran on what over the lowlands routes? I'm fairly confident in assuming the 170's were on Glasgow - Edinburgh's, 156's off Queen Street working the West Highland Line, and 170's/158's on the Glasgow/Edinburgh - Dundee etc, I hope I have that bit right, but I'm not so clued up on the Glasgow Electrics.
I'm sure there is a long list for this, and I apologize for needing a list, but apart from the 322's, I have no idea what the 314/318/320/322/380's would have worked in this period?
The 156's would have done the diesel branches, but were these EMU's also paired, ran alone, or a mixture? I'm used to seeing electrics down south being paired for most of the time on weekdays, with little in the way of single set unit's running around.
Also any route (end - end) descriptions would be highly appreciated, as apart from Cathcart Circle, I wouldn't know what the 'xxx' line means. (I've heard of the North Clyde line, not sure what it is or covers though).
Any help would be most appreciated!
James.
