Passed a medical a few days ago and looking forward to starting on the autumn course!

Surprised to hear people having issues with length of time in between sections of the process. I only applied in mid April & have now made it all the way through. For me personally it’s been a really smooth process, but maybe I just got lucky.

Good luck to all others going through the process currently.

It has taken a while for me ! I applied in Jan buy got given the unsuccessful news only 3 weeks ago and the policy is you have to wait 6 months to reapply, when asked it’s 6 months from date of unsuccessful notification which is a killer because I’ve passed the psychometric tests with another TOC which may boost my chances ! If the process was a bit quicker I may have had another chance this year rather than it being a 12 cycle between 2 applications

Cut off at shortlisting so not even a phone interview, my application was evidently not up to scratch ! I am just a touch gutted that they put the roles on hold for business needs meaning my journey from 1 application to my 2nd is 12 months !

I heard yesterday that I was successful at my face to face interview. They don’t have any dates for assessments yet but will be in touch in due course.
One step closer.
Thanks for the tips/advice everyone.

Well done. That’s good news and a great place to be. Another hurdle jumped.
Nothing for us up North as yet.
Best of luck for the next stage.

Anyone heard anything for Chester / Crewe?

Hi,
I applied in February and haven’t heard anything. My application is still showing as submitted. Assume I was unsuccessful but does anyone know when they will tell you so???
Thanks

I applied for the North in Feb.
A guy from work said he had an unsuccessful e mail early July.
A few days later I was invited to a telephone interview which was a month ago.
No results from that yet.
I am aware that some for the South have been through the phone and face to face interviews recently.

Well done @Wafflehouse.
Do you remember what they asked at the telephone interview? I have a telephone interview coming up in the next few weeks.
Get up to speed on your basic knowledge of the company, why you want to be a driver, why you’re suited to the role. Always have safety in mind but don’t over do it. Good luck.

I also applied in February and now my application has disappeared too! I emailed them last week and they replied very quickly and are looking into it.

Hi everyone. New to this forum but finding all the information most helpful.
Does anybody have any ideas when the next course may be for trainee train drivers at Cardiff? Thanks in advance.
