I have been knocked out at DMI stage. To say I'm absolutely gutted is an understatement.

Huge well done to my mate 34fh0131 and the others that have made the pool, I hope to join you eventually!

Sorry to hear that Myrtle. From my time on this forum, I've learnt that persistence is the key. There seems to many many people who have applied multiple times before finally getting through. The TOC's seem to advertise fairly often too.

Thank you, I am treating it as a learning curve.

I really am determined to succeed and join as a driver eventually, so I'm waiting on the interview feedback and I will build on all the points they mention. I think perseverance is key!

Congratulations to those of you who were successful! I was knocked out at the video interview stage but I still hope to land a role with EMR in the future.

Just advertised for internal transfers again so they might still be short of the numbers they need.

Those of us in the pool are sat Patiently waiting for the call.... hopefully the internal drivers will leave us some vacancies :D

Aye, lateral transfer for Derby or St Pancras drivers but Norwich, Notts, Boston or Lincoln must apply? I thought the driving grade was harmonised at EMT?

Pay is harmonised, but minimum/maximum duty lengths, PNB parameters, and annual leave arrangements (bank holidays a normal day with greater annual leave allocation at ex-MML, and fewer annual leave days but lieu days earned for Bank Holidays at ex-Central Trains) still prevail as separate T&Cs between the former two companies I believe.

I doubt we will hear anything now until well into the new year, jan course has been filled. No news about other future courses, if there is any.......
