Hey love your updates, your so nearly there! It’s made me wonder has anyone been kicked off the course? I.e not been able to make the grade.
Thanks! Yeah I’m on about 200 hours now, not far off the 225 but I also currently need 15 more dark driving hours which are hard to come by in these summer months!

Due to managers on annual leave and a few other trainees in front of me etc I’ve been told my Part 3/C assessment will be in around 8 weeks.

As far as I’m aware no one has been kicked off and everyone is doing well. Since starting our hours the communication between the group has dropped but still see the odd trainee here and there and yeah haven’t heard anything negative in that sense.

Ah I see, nice!

From what I’ve heard it’s very rare someone will fail completely. (May also vary TOC to TOC/FOC)

Definitely keep positive and I believe if you just pay attention, listen and learn (in class and some in your own time) you will do just fine. The school is there to help you but you have to be willing to help yourself too, all the best!

Hi Timpg, some of the group got uniform on induction week and I think most had everything within the first few weeks. Although they are in the process of producing the new uniform but I’m not sure when it’s going to be released exactly.

Alright mate, wow that’s going quick isn’t it!

Haven’t updated the thread as there’s not much to say at this stage.

I have now done 260+ hours plus the required dark hours etc so I am just waiting for my Part 3. Manager wise though there is a lot going on and holidays etc I’ve been told the earliest it will be is the last week of September, so hopefully I’ll be done by October time!

Congratulations. Superb achievement and a brave person to document it. Now you have to document the first day and first few baby steps.

What are you buying your Instructor...

Autumn is coming up and I've noticed my unit sanding more and more each day. Be careful of that morning dew.

There are plenty of experienced Drivers on the forum. Never be afraid to ask for advice. Feel free to PM me if you ever need anything.

Drive safe and welcome to the club.

Cheers! I was asked to do it and hopefully it's helped some people get an idea of what goes on. I should be getting my folder signed off early next week then possibly the middle of next week I should be on the road!

I've had 5 instructors for various reasons so, er, yeah

Yes I see we are coming into that season now, funnily enough on the first day of my part 3 driving I experienced the dancing speedo, and on the second day (yesterday) I was wheelspinning everywhere due to the rain!

Thanks for that, appreciated.

Awesome news, congratulations!
Been great to follow your journey!
Cheers! Glad it's been of use!

Congratulations, driver :)
Cheers!

Cheers! Haha, no problem, will see you next week no doubt! Yes that train wasn't the greatest, as I said above, I was wheelspinning all the way from Stortford!

Congratulations.
Cheers!

Congratulations buddy! I've been following your story and I'm really pleased for you.
Cheers! Hope the thread has helped.
