Sat here at Ibiza airport looking at fares this afternoon Glasgow to Preston, Virgin, railcard. Looked at Virgins app and NRE and they both come up with a good price for first class, off peak today. Thinking of buying right now, but when I get to the station there may be a TPE train ready to go.

Will the virgin fares quoted on line be exactly the same at the ticket office as online?

Thanks!

What ticket is it showing?

Is it a VT only fair?

If it is any permitted you can go on TPE

If it is a normal on the day fair not an advance then you may as well just buy at the station. Good luck
Seems like it, cheaper than one thatseither V or TPE, but will try to buy on the bus 500 if I can. Thanks

Probably not. Virgin sell Advance on the day fares which are cheaper than walk up fares. If you know what time you are travelling you'll save money by going for one of these fares.

Quick update, turned up at the Virgin desk @ Glasgow and got the fare I wanted for the 1540, under £40 first class with railcard. Nice one!
