Taking a nosey at Companies House, it seems that they were overdue with their accounts as well, with them only just staving off compulsory strike off earlier this year (for Dunn Motor Traction)

I also noticed there were a couple of dormant companies linked with Scott Dunn which recently moved registered office from the Yourbus depot, a Your Bus (Nottingham) Limited and a Your bus (Durham) limited.

Who will operate the Y10?
Does Rotala registering the 50 buses mean they will set up operations here or buy all the buses for their own operations?

Neither, Rotala were in negotiation to buy Yourbus via Preston Bus Limited (hence why Heanor Depot + 50 discs was added on to that license) but a deal couldn't be concluded, the rest is history.

Yourbus MD Stephen Ward also resigned on the 19th Sept.

New timetables are now on the Derbyshire County Council timetables pages.
The 59(Notts & Derby) is altered on School Hols & Sats with other minor retimings.
The 216 & 217(Stagecoach Chesterfield) gain a journey between 1200 & 1300, but loose the 1300-1400 journey.

Hulleys are revising their Peak Network in November. The 66 is withdrawn. There is a new X70 Chesterfield-Bakewell. The 170 runs more frequently.

Yes, obviously registered a while ago to give the statutory notice and obviously intended to strike another blow at Yourbus.

I wonder if they would have increased the frequency if they'd known what was going to happen last Friday!

I would have thought if it had been registered before there would have been much more marketing than a few days notice - I agree with markymark that the withdrawal of Yourbus Y1 allowed the short notice as needed to cope with capacity increase.

I don't think much of a capacity increase will be needed. The average loadings on Y1 in the daytime were 4 to 5 passengers (being generous!)

That'd be about 20 passengers an hour. TB are only running one extra bus an hour. Sounds like a win all round (except for pass users who will have fewer buses an hour, though better spaced).

Weirdly when I transfer from the R1 to H1 at Heanor - usually late morning or lunchtime - I find the Y1s go out with more passengers than the H1. I watched the back of a H1 go out as I arrived the other week and a number of people had let it go to wait for the Y1!

According to another source the Yourbus 216-217 & some Alfreton tendered services had been lost at the end of October to Stagecoach anyway. Makes you wonder if some of the other tenders had been lost from the end of October and hence the speed with which Derbyshire were able to replace Yourbus services.

County Councils are very speedy at replacing services to be honest.

216, 217 and a couple of schools have been gained, as per https://www.stagecoachbus.com/servi...rticle?SituationId=ID-14/08/2018-14:48:06:304

So I reckon in this case, Stagecoach were asked to start running the services earlier than originally planned.

No sign of anything replacing the Y10 at Eastwood yet and considering the uphill distance from New Eastwood into the town centre that is rather disappointing/surprising. Interestingly in todays 'Eastwood & Kimberley Advertiser' the Eastwood MP Gloria de Piero talks about poor bus services but their is no mention of Eastwoods recent loss - has anyone told her!

5/7/8/9 have a dedicated batch of Solo SRs but E200s turn up quite often. 11 has a different dedicated batch of slightly older SRs. Will this push out those strange OmniTown things that still linger on some of the grey routes?

It's been rather rare to see an 11 Branded Solo for a while on the 11 - seems to be the reserve or pink line buses in recent weeks. Although I did notice at least one 11 branded on the 11 today for a change.

3 of the 4 buses on the 11 right now are branded! Must just be unlucky in your journey times.
Cascaded Solo SRs will displace Omnitowns and the 2 original solos.

New buses for NCT's 5, 7, 8, 9 before Christmas
https://twitter.com/NCT_Buses/status/1184745771012427777

Presumably some cascades coming to the 11 which has a ragtag selection of buses at the moment?

It's more likely the Optare Solo SRs from Green 5/7/8/9 will replace the 7 OmniTowns dedicated to the 53/54, and should be able to oust the last 2 Optare Solos still in service (237/238).

I believe but can't remember that NCT actually have an order for 10 Enviro200MMCs, which could mean 2 could become spares.

If anything, its the 11 branded Optare Solo SRs that don't tend to stray off other routes; its just very likely some are off the road due to maintenance... One is in fact off the road following an RTC, hence why 3 out of 4 branded buses have been out recently.

Two spares but only one of those is Midi.
2nd is a 40 seater.
