Exactly. I mean, for God's sake.... we're ENGLISH! *quick hushed consultation with the PR consultants* I mean we're BRITISH!
Don't forget that the PM was elected on a TWO-THIRDS majority - one of the biggest landslides in recent years. Who says we're undemocratic?
(NB 150 000 people were eligible to vote)
On the main page that links to the document there is an email address for requesting an accessible format. The government's own no-deal planning report is out; https://assets.publishing.service.g...ttachment_data/file/837312/DExEUReportWEB.PDF probably worth saving as many of us (tourists, drivers, exporters, students etc) will have to keep referring back to it. I think a lot of people who are politically unattached to Brexit are going to be in for a shock somehere down the line, even if it's the loss of the EHIC meaning more (or no) expensive insurance for health cover.
I don't know how or if blind readers can obtain a copy (braille or read out) so any details would be appreciated. The report has just been published, so I expect down the line it will be available as such, and also in Welsh. (???)
If you use assistive technology (such as a screen reader) and need a version of this document in a more accessible format, please email [email protected]. Please tell us what format you need. It will help us if you say what assistive technology you use.
Thanks, missed that in the rush to get to the parts that affect me!!On the main page that links to the document there is an email address for requesting an accessible format.

But the same is true of many countries and most people seem to be able to forgive, even what shouldn't be forgotten.

I don't think that's true. Many countries that went through what was, in effect, a civil war carry those divisions along, even if they're under the surface.
I do believe that the report is a piece of propaganda. It copies almost word for word Gove and Johnson's words...
one led by Jeremy Corbyn
Shame that's so unpalatable to many, often those who would be pleasantly surprised and benefit by his premiership.
Personally Frank (Skinner) could do a lot better than any of the others, but it needs someone who is detached from it all, which even rules out the speaker. Since Day One we have needed an honest broker, it could have been May but she got corrupted by the ERG and made things worse with her "saboteurs" nonsense when she should have gone for that soft Brexit.I would personally nominate Dennis Skinner for interim Prime Minister.
The Maybot “an honest broker”?
Getting a deal seems to be getting increasingly more difficult when Number 10 is briefing against the EU in the most obvious way possible. "You can't have a deal unless you let us have Northern Ireland" is what Merkel said according to No10. The only response from the EU has been "we don't recognise what they are saying about the conversation".
Meanwhile, the cabinet are meeting, and complaining to Boris that his spokespeople are getting out of hand and seem to be deliberately making the process more difficult. They couldn't see that the same thing was happening right then because they'd had their phones taken off then.
Thankfully however most European nations have cut their military's so far it'll just be a short bloody war instead! If this was developing 50 years ago I'd predict the outcome to be a long, bloody war, not a deal.

I simply do not believe those words were used. The EU have behaved like adults throughout. It has been our Tory PM's ( and their Brexit company/ERG chums) who have behaved in a silly and childish manner. Luckily we have a PM now who has never been in trouble for not being entirely accurate with the truth....................
And they’ve essentially alongside others of equal or more extreme mindset, controlled the whole Brexit agenda ever since. She was until the ERG got her.
I've always thought it's been a masterful piece of manipulation by the Brexiteers that they've managed to move the goal posts from leaving the EU with a deal (and even being in the Customs Union and EEA!) to "no-deal is the only way to respect the decision of the people!". Despite the fact that when you go back and look at what was being said by key leavers in 2016, i.e. the stuff that people might use to decide how they voted, was all about how of course we'd leave with a deal, of course we'll remain in the EEA and/or Customs Union. And they’ve essentially alongside others of equal or more extreme mindset, controlled the whole Brexit agenda ever since.
Somebody's forgotten her time in the home office...She was until the ERG got her.

And yet here we are...
