Wouldn't be surprised if 67008 appears in white sometime soon.

Any sign of a 67 in TfW livery?

This from the Railways of North Wales Facebook group yesterday:

“TfW Loco Hauled diagram December changes. UPDATED.

In order to ensure that first class and catering remains available on the Premier service, the "WAG" stock will continue to work the 0534 Holyhead Cardiff and 1716 Cardiff Holyhead.

The stock currently working the Manchester commuter diagram will be based at Canton and will work the 0702 Cardiff Holyhead and 1134 Holyhead Cardiff.

A DMU will work the previously loco hauled advertised 1124 Cardiff Holyhead and 1651 Holyhead Cardiff.

This arrangement will apply until further notice (May 2020 TBC) and will then be replaced by mk4 stock once route clearance and crew training is completed.

A mk4 set will operate the current Manchester diagram as planned from December until further notice once crew training is completed.

THIS ARRANGEMENT APPLIES FROM 16TH DECEMBER.”

So we may see a 67 in TFW colours by then.

Already posted here as it's not a livery matter.

Rumour this morning is that 67025 is the first to have received the new livery. The grey is darker than on the 175s but the red is the same apparently.

Thanks for the info :) Might even put it on the list once I've seen a photo ;)

The photo has probably been taken from WNXX this evening where it was credited to M Church

67025 has been out of service at Crewe since 2015 and transferred recently to Toton

I see. I had a look on there for discussion on this but couldn’t find anything - do you have a link please?

Whilst it looks smart on a 67 I do wonder if they'd have been able to get DB to do something different to the units, a dragon pops to mind as an example with no windows to interrupt it.

Why do people have this Welsh Dragon idea in their heads...? As far as I know, the Welsh Dragon has never been in TfW's brand identity...

I didn't specifically say Dragon it was an example. As for why, there's this thing called national identity which is currently growing exponentially in Wales, even many in Monmouthshire are going that way

TfW have never had anything to do with the dragon in any of their brand stuff...
