Well then you should have got it quicker, your turn...

I can't know my own city very well -- the "cemetery" bit was and is lost on me.

Anglo-Saxon healer refusing to treat immobilised chap on the enemy side: Dree palsy, Dane ! -- that's messed-up.

Hint: it's the second station "out", on an eight-station line.

Is it the little known but extensive station which serves both an English village and a Belgian town - Edale and Ypres?

LAA,YER DEPENDS in vain, I fear, on the above ingenious answer. The station concerned is, nearly enough, "the same distance north of the Equator" as one of the places you mention here. (With the terms latitude and longitude, I just cannot get it straight which is which.)

The only other Anglo-Belgian station I know is Ryde Esplanade.

(If you don't know the difference between latitude and longitude just use the generic term "perigorounditude".)

Ryde Esplanade it is. Le plancher est a vous -- et pour les Flamands, la meme chose (World War I joke).

Well done, your turn...
Thank you! :)

Let's try this:

You meet a lone farmer who is seeking aid
To fix up the mess which he has just made
The animals came two, two and two
"But I just simply have too few!"
"Too few of what?", you then ask
But the situation, he's trying to mask
He then explains his lack of space
To keep all the animals, what a disgrace

What does the farmer need? (Station name!)

Good luck!
