Mostly for information - I see on the news that SNCF has been pretty much crippled by a wildcat strike by the CGT union. From what I can work out it's a protest against driver only operation following a level crossing collision where an injured train driver had to manage the situation alone. Departure boards across the country look pretty grim so be aware if you're heading out there.

Could this affect Eurotunnel? I know someone who has been sat at Folkestone 3 hours waiting for a shuttle. Lots of cancellations apparently.

I was in France today, for a journey from Torino to Brussels via Paris. TGVs seemed OK, excepted Ouigo, RER in Paris was down for all lines operated by SNCF, Thalys was OK, TER were announced as severely disrupted. Eurostar I don't know.

I passed through Basel SBB today and I didn't see any cancellations from the SNCF bit of the station.
